Briarfest has been cancelled do to the weather. We are no longer needed to help. Enjoy your weekend!

Briarfest - THIS Saturday!

All CJH cheerleaders will need to report to Briarwood by 1:25pm on Saturday. Please wear hair all up with bows and depending on the weather we will let you know which outfit to wear! Cheerleaders will need to go all the way around to the back of the building. If it rains and they no longer need our help, we will let you know! That happen last year. This is a mandatory community service opportunity!

Briarfest - Sunday, September 17, 2016

This is just a reminder that the mandatory volunteer event is this coming Sunday, September 17.  Please remember, this is the second of our two required community involvement events that we ask the girls to volunteer.  Briarfest is this coming Sunday, September 17 at Briarwood, and we're asking the junior high girls to work from 1:00-3:30pm.  More information will be available this week at practice.

Thank you all for getting boxes of granola bars at such short notice last week for the Marion Local game.  I know the boys really appreciated having treats!  I will let you know with much more notice when we will do treats for the next game.

September Calendar

I'm so sorry you've all had to wait this long for a September calendar, however it's finally here for you!  I've also uploaded to the Facebook and updated the iCal, so if you subscribed to the calendar, things should've showed up on your phone/tablet calendars.  Also notice, the bus times for our away games this month are included.

Marion Local Game - September 8

Our next game is Thursday night at home against Marion Local. The seventh grade game starts at 5pm. Below is some information for this Thursday's game.


-Wear uniforms with printed liners to school with hair all up and bows in.


-Meet in the Pound at 4:00 and walk over to the stadium together. Make sure you grab your poms from the coaches office in the Pound.


-Make sure nail polish is acceptable and all jewelry is out and off once you get to the stadium.


-Remember you will sit with your squad members and your coach while you are not cheering...not in the student section and not with friends!

No Practice Today

Don't forget, NO practice today since it is Labor Day. Tomorrow, we will practice in the Pound from 4:00-5:30pm. Enjoy an extra day of the weekend with your families.
