Cheers to Know for the Parade

Below is a list of cheers that Kim and I expect the girls to know for the parade.  Keep in mind, we will practice these on Thursday, August 5th, but they should know the basics.

- 1- We are the Cavaliers, 2- A Little bit Louder
- We say Coldwater
- S-P-I-R-I-T Spirit, Let's Hear it
- Here we go Cavaliers
- We Wanna Hear You Say Go, Big, Orange

We may add one or two more during that parade practice next week.

I am going to try to record these sometime this week during sign painting and get them uploaded so the girls can practice, as well.

Thank you so much, and I hope to see most of the girls tomorrow for sign painting from 3-5pm in the Pound.

Info for Picnic Weekend

Here is some information regarding cheer events during the Coldwater Picnic:

Practice for the parade will be on Thursday, August 4 from 2:30-5:00pm in The Pound. We will go over everything that we will do during the parade this day.

More information regarding the parade and what time to be where will be announced closer to time.

All junior high cheerleaders will need to report to the fun tent by 2:30pm on Sunday, August 7. Cheerleaders will need to wear the parade outfit and bow to work the fun tent, which means ALL hair is to be up and the bow is to be in to work the fun tent (count on it being hot)!

Don't forget, we start painting signs NEXT WEEK! Check Facebook, the Blogspot and/or your emails if you haven't found the schedules yet. They were posted over a week ago.

Parade Practice

Just a quick memo regarding practice for the parade, as I've had a number of questions.

We will practice for the parade on Thursday, August 5 from 2:30-5:00pm. This is already on your calendars, but for those who are only basketball cheerleaders and are planning on walking with us in the parade, August 5 would be the day we will practice for that. 

Please let me know if you need anything else regarding practices, calendars, the picnic schedule of events for cheer or anything else. 

I'm looking forward to starting with the girls next week!

Time Change for Pictures on August 10

TIME CHANGE FOR FOOTBALL CHEER PICTURES!!

The time for pictures for football cheerleaders is NO LONGER at 8am, but will be at 4:15pm at the stadium.

We will NOT have practice that day, but will just have pictures.

I will make this change on the calendar and repost it soon.

IMPORTANT UPDATES: Uniform Fittings, and CCP Information

Here are some updates from Kim regarding uniform fittings and picnic information. I will be updating the calendars no later than this weekend for you, as well.

In regards to uniform fittings... Those will take place this coming Monday, July 11th in the Pound at EITHER 10AM OR 6PM - whichever time works best for you. THIS IS FOR BOTH FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL CHEERLEADERS!

I need a head count on how many of the girls want to be in the parade by July 15th, just so we have an estimate for Kim and know who's planning on walking.

In regards to the fun tent during the Picnic on Sunday, August 7th, Kim has all of the middle school cheerleaders down for the shift of 3-5pm. The only excuse that is accepted is if they are out of town. This service project is mandatory!
